Science Summer Camp program runs from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday from June 25th to July 20, 2012. OASES' Science Camp is an opportunity for students to continue to develop their academic and social skills during the Summer, where academic support and resources are scarce. SCIENCE WORKSHOPS Students participate in 3 different workshops that emphasize teamwork in designing and redesigning hands-on projects focused in the subject of health, environment, and engineering. . RECREATION After lunch, students participate in recreation to balance the day’s activities. Previous activities include Team Sports, Environmental Art, Cooking and Indoor Camping. FIELD TRIPS Field trip Fridays enhance student learning. Potential fieldtrips may include the Golden Gate Bridge, the Tech Museum of San Jose, or the East Bay Regional Parks. ATTENDANCE POLICY Students must attend everyday - Monday through Friday from 9am - 3pm. PROGRAM FEES Summer Program fees are based on a sliding scale dependent on your family income and household number from $225 to $400. Applications now available!!!
